The institute
What is the IGI?
The grading of your diamond is deliberately not in our hands but in those of an independent institute. That is exactly what makes the certificate reliable.
The International Gemological Institute is an independent grading institute based in Antwerp and an international standard for lab-grown diamonds. It grades every diamond according to the 4Cs: Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat.
The grading criteria
The 4 Cs
The IGI grades every diamond on these four criteria.
Color
Describes how colorless a diamond is. Most of our customers choose white; colored diamonds are just as possible.
Clarity
Indicates how free the diamond is of tiny natural inclusions.
Cut
Grades how precisely the facets are worked. It decides the sparkle — the round brilliant is the most popular.
Carat
Measures the size of your diamond. You can choose 0.1 to 2.0 carat, on request up to about 4 carat.

The number in your diamond
An identification number is engraved into your diamond, visible under a microscope.

Type the number into the report check on the IGI website.

That's the question many don't dare to ask out loud. So we answer it clearly: yes.
For every order we create a sealed, fully labeled box. In this box your material accompanies every single step, from sending to delivery. Everything is matched by a unique order number, your name and your diamond's specifications.
So in the end, exactly the diamond that grew from your loved one's or pet's material comes to you. No mix-up, no doubt.

An honest answer, plainly: made at specialized partner labs, independently certified by the IGI in Antwerp.

Can you see the difference?
Not with the naked eye. Your diamond is a real diamond with the same properties as a naturally grown one.
The difference lies solely in its origin. Specialist labs like the IGI identify it through specific test features and clearly list your diamond in the certificate as lab-grown. For us, that transparency is a strength, not a flaw.
