Carbon extraction
The carbon in your ashes or hair is isolated and refined into high-purity graphite — the raw material of every diamond.
HPHT growth
Under more than 1,600 °C (about 2,900 °F) and enormous pressure, the carbon crystallizes layer by layer into a genuine diamond.
Cutting & polishing
The rough diamond is cut into the shape you chose — from the round brilliant to the heart — and polished.
IGI grading
The independent IGI in Antwerp grades your diamond according to the 4Cs and issues its certificate.
Delivery
Your diamond arrives insured, in its presentation box, with the certificate and the full documentation.
The science
What is the HPHT process?
HPHT stands for High Pressure, High Temperature — a process that reproduces exactly how diamonds form in nature. Deep in the earth's mantle, diamonds grow over millions of years under extreme pressure and heat. HPHT recreates those conditions in a controlled, documented way.
The carbon extracted from your ashes or hair is placed in a growth cell and exposed to temperatures above 1,600 °C and enormous pressure. Over several weeks the carbon crystallizes layer by layer into a genuine diamond — atom by atom, just as in nature. Including cutting and IGI grading, the whole journey takes 14–18 weeks.
The result is physically, chemically and optically identical to a naturally grown diamond. No imitation, no cubic zirconia, no crystal — a real diamond that gemologists cannot distinguish from a mined one by eye. The IGI certificate that comes with every one of our diamonds confirms it.
